Haworth Steampunk Weekend May

Dear Steampunk Adventurers

Welcome to Haworth Steampunk Weekend May 2026.

Steampunk is a style that mixes Victorian-era fashion with imaginary steam-powered technology.

It’s inspired by writers like Jules Verne and H. G. Wells, and features things like goggles, gears, airships, and old-fashioned clothing.

In short: it’s what people in the 1800s imagined the future might look like.

Haworth Steampunk Weekend is…

🎭 More than just a festival

While the costumes and atmosphere are a huge draw, what makes Haworth Steampunk Weekend special is how it blends fun with purpose—turning a niche cultural event into real-world support for people in need. Explore the traders at Haworth Old School Room, watch the street entertainment, sample yourself a good pint of Yorkshire hospitality.

❤️ Supporting a vital cause

A key purpose of the weekend is to raise funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, a local hospice that provides palliative care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as care for their families. Haworth Steampunk Weekend has raised over £36000 for Sue Ryder Manorlands since 2012.

Funds are raised through:

  • Donations during the event
